Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Garoa in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Turin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jaume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignacio Cresenciano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Alan Turin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Garoa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garrapatita Futbol:s goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Alan Turin:s penalty. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Garrapatita Futbol's Albano Lorenz. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Garrapatita Futbol getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Albano Lorenz hit a great ball. Hermengildo Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Garoa scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fernan Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Garrapatita Futbol.
