Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Deportes Vαldiviα's Vinos Guemes got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eufrasio Najera's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Ortega in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eufrasio Najera in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Ysidro Colimán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Venegas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysidro Colimán quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ysidro Colimán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufrasio Najera in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rolando Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportes Vαldiviα's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Ortega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinos Guemes in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vinos Guemes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufrasio Najera, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Eufrasio Najera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Rolando Ortega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportes Vαldiviα fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eufrasio Najera in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ysidro Colimán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Christiano Mendiola made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Wilfredo Restat made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rolando Ortega. Rolando Ortega succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 76th playminute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Romo in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportes Vαldiviα's Silvestre Romo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vinos Guemes was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportes Vαldiviα's players had a chance to rest. When the match was over Deportes Vαldiviα could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
