Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serdar Gulson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Serdar Gulson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Gulson in the 5th minute of the match. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sandro Baylon in the 7 minute of the game. Serdar Gulson took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marouane Rocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qiu Xi Wen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Gulson in the 25th minute of the match. Loïc Payen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serdar Gulson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Gulson in the 31st minute of the match. When Serdar Gulson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Gulson couldn't finish the play. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Serdar Gulson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loïc Payen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

FC Lëtzebuerg made a substitution. Freddy Hirsch replaced Manuel Ferrara. Loïc Payen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serdar Gulson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serdar Gulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Serdar Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Serdar Gulson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Gulson couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson. But to his dismay, Serdar Gulson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serdar Gulson scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Gulson in the 89th minute of the match. Sandro Baylon's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Baylon helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes FC Lëtzebuerg got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Baylon.
