Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Szymon Naskrent sent off a good shot on target. Szymon Naskrent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Krzysztof Mochadlo made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Szymon Naskrent immediately put the ball in play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Dombroski struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Szczecin. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Kajfasz having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Marian Kajfasz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Naskrent came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-0 came in the 62nd minute when Szymon Naskrent all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Bykowski in the 66th minute of play. Pogoń Szczecin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stanislaw Drapinski in the 68th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Szymon Naskrent. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 70th minute, Ryszard Bykowski made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Wojciech Domala hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After 77 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 83rd minute Ryszard Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Szymon Naskrent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Bykowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
