Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ronaldo Insigne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Erik Ek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 played minutes AIK got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Insigne. After 16 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. In the 20th minute Ronaldo Insigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Örn having to interfere. In the 29th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Ek got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Örn was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Insigne in the 36th minute of play. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Örn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, AIK's Ronaldo Insigne made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Insigne in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Erik Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Emanuel Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AIK's Emanuel Örn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AIK's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Örn came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes, Ronaldo Insigne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Ronaldo Insigne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK the free kick. AIK's 余鸿川 was substituted for Ronaldo Insigne. The supporters of AIK booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. After 89 minutes, Jose Carita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余鸿川 in the 90th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Örn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
