Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. The supporters of FC Fano booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, FC Fano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luka Tudor to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the game Karl Beauchêne made a throw-in which Evren Cambaz played forward. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dietrich Winkler having to interfere. Luka Tudor hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dietrich Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Fano's Dietrich Winkler. Dietrich Winkler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Lampadius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dietrich Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietrich Winkler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Evren Cambaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Wally Auffarth kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Dietrich Winkler 36 minutes into the match. FC Fano's Dietrich Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, FC Fano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evren Cambaz to maneuver through the defense. Dietrich Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute. Dietrich Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Edmundo Espiga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dietrich Winkler, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dietrich Winkler was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Otto König hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dietrich Winkler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dietrich Winkler saved FC Fano from getting behind. A collision led to FC Fano getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wally Auffarth hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Wilhelm Lampadius tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl Beauchêne was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fano's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karl Beauchêne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to FC Fano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Evren Cambaz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dietrich Winkler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Lampadius in the 88th minute of the match. Evren Cambaz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fano.
