Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efrain Moruga made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Vertigo's Damian Tirulescu. Narcis Popoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Narcis Popoiu made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Ferrant made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Vertigo's Pompiliu Marchiș. After having played for 11 minutes, Pompiliu Marchiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Vertigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Marchiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damian Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tudor Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narcis Popoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Noboa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Iftimescu to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Popoiu having to interfere. Daniel Chirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Damian Tirulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Damian Tirulescu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Tirulescu couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Narcis Popoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Chirea made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Ionașcu got free with Benito Sanz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Eliseo Noboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Popoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Tudor Ionașcu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Damian Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narcis Popoiu. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narcis Popoiu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 72 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Club Vertigo. Marcel Văleanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 3-2. In the 86th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Popoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Narcis Popoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Tirulescu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tudor Ionașcu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Ionașcu couldn't finish the play.
