Iurie Avacariței scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, FC Oltul Slatina's Gaudencio Ubarna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iurie Avacariței could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Gelu Coman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Iurie Avacariței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Gelu Coman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iurie Avacariței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iurie Avacariței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Ubarna notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. FC Oltul Slatina's Nichifor Bornescu was substituted for Gelu Coman. The supporters of FC Oltul Slatina booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Avacariței, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Manole Vâlcu made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Oltul Slatina had played much better football throughout.
