Peru's Luz Tejedor suffered a sprained foot after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zhuo Guang Xing's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zhuo Guang Xing helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 张常阳 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's attentive Wen Qing Bo managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Salvino came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Salvino to make the kick off. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 张常阳 having to interfere. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Richard Textex was substituted for Wen Qing Bo. 张常阳 came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's 张常阳 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. 张常阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 76th minute of the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 张常阳 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 张常阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 张常阳 saved ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ from getting behind. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
