Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Alcorcón A.D.A's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Dida Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roberto Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alcorcón A.D.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Cruz couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Ramalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Ramalho was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Chile's Alan Tamayo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severiano Calvo in the 19 minute of the game. In the 20th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alcorcón A.D.A booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Aceves in the 29th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Ramalho having to make a save. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Severiano Calvo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Ramalho was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dida Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Roberto Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Cruz got free with Thiago Pliego in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Marcial Aceves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Cruz in the 54th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dida Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Roberto Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 66th minute Marcial Aceves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Marcial Aceves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 73 minutes, Unai Roca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcorcón A.D.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unai Roca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcorcón A.D.A made a substitution. Casildo Macho replaced Santiago Almeida. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dida Ramalho made a huge save. Severiano Calvo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. After 80 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of play forced Alcorcón A.D.A's goalkeeper Dida Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Cruz came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alcorcón A.D.A's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Ramalho came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Dida Ramalho in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Ramalho was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dida Ramalho. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
