Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wouter Gijselinckx started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gillis Degens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vincent Dejonghe, made in the 13th minute of the game. Vincent Dejonghe made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eliseo Mina hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gillis Degens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristen Spoelberghe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristen Spoelberghe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gillis Degens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Vincent Dejonghe in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Vincent Dejonghe made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frederik Van Beringhen immediately put the ball in play. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 40th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Emmanuel Reyes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gillis Degens quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wouter Gijselinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The KFC Welden players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gillis Degens saved KFC Welden from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Vincent Dejonghe in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Joaquin Prats. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristen Spoelberghe went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Vincent Dejonghe made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kristen Spoelberghe. In the 61st minute Kristen Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes in the game Frederik Van Beringhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jose Van Eyken. When Jose Van Eyken came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the KFC Welden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Van Eyken couldn't finish the play. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gillis Degens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Peru booed when KFC Welden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernand De Spiegeleire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Vincent Dejonghe made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of play forced KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Henri-Xavier Van den Dries who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri-Xavier Van den Dries in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gillis Degens, 3-3. KFC Welden succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
