Xander Wenderix made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Robin Hagemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after LeRoeulx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The supporters of Honduras booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xander Wenderix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Hagemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 23rd minute of play forced LeRoeulx's goalkeeper Robin Hagemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Xander Wenderix in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Hagemans having to interfere. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jeremy Coremans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Elias Verdonk got a free kick in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jabbar De Roeulx in the 52nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Brian Van Eynde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Coremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Brian Van Eynde managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeRoeulx's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Van Eynde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xander Wenderix hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Honduras's Sebastian Villa suffered a sore thigh after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Pascal Van der Willeghem charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Van der Willeghem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascal Van der Willeghem hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Xander Wenderix, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jabbar De Roeulx in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Alexander Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Hagemans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.
