Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. 7 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Ubarna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Ubarna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Humberto Johans charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Johans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Johans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Ubarna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Teobaldo Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Ubarna got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 minutes of play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes in the game, Teobaldo Ubarna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. El Renacer del Quijano FC made a substitution. Maximo Distiratsu replaced Nunez Maurin. After 70 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Ubarna. After 74 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the El Renacer del Quijano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Teobaldo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Laurentzi scored 0-11 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Ubarna in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Leandro Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Leandro Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Renacer del Quijano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
