Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Catholic Church's Kenneth McKinnell. But to his dismay, Kenneth McKinnell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henry Kristiansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Kristiansson in the 15th minute. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Henry Kristiansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Catholic Church's Kenneth McKinnell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Stig-Åke Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Henry Kristiansson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Catholic Church fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Kristiansson couldn't finish the play. Stig-Åke Ljungberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Åke Ljungberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kenneth McKinnell made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Kenneth McKinnell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catholic Church's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth McKinnell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Timur Malyugin got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth McKinnell in the 67th minute of play. Henry Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Kenneth McKinnell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catholic Church's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth McKinnell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Ingemarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Kristiansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth McKinnell came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catholic Church's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
