Enrique Enoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 21st minute of play forced union española s.a.'s goalkeeper Enrique Enoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match union española s.a. got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victoriano Arana ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Mannhardt got free with Marco Day in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 minutes union española s.a.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Diego Bradley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Enoch quite easily take care of the ball. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 40th minute of the match. Monty Rogers scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Enoch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Malmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes union española s.a. got a freekick which was hit by Oriol Marmolejo. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Enrique Enoch made a huge save. When Ubaldo Mannhardt came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the union española s.a. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Mannhardt couldn't finish the play. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Enrique Enoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of the match. Enrique Enoch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Sam Campbell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Sam Campbell. Cecilio Magalhaes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Enrique Enoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Malmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Sam Campbell came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enrique Enoch could save by the left post. In the 85th minute, Fabian Brown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, union española s.a.'s Victoriano Arana tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, USA's Enrique Enoch threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Khalid Parry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Enrique Enoch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koby Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Enoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than union española s.a. throughout the match.
