The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentín Carvallo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, AREN SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Abayhan Özerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AREN SPOR's Abayhan Özerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play. Tuna Ulucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abayhan Özerman was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İnanç Böke made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abayhan Özerman saved AREN SPOR from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abayhan Özerman. In the 55th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abayhan Özerman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Edmundo Espiga sped through AREN SPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abayhan Özerman. Tuna Ulucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Mehmet Fatih Bircan made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which İnanç Böke however managed to control. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Abayhan Özerman to make any attempt to save it. Abayhan Özerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abayhan Özerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Böke in the 87th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abayhan Özerman. AREN SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
