Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Danielsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascual Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ander Lepist hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. FC LauB's Mario Mendez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Mario Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Mario Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the FC LauB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, FC LauB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Markel to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Pascual Markel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Markel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Markel. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Pascual Markel sent off a good shot on target. Rutger Danielsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Markel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Danielsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Ander Lepist. FC LauB's Oriche Rotges got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ander Lepist in the 61st minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Markel in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 75 minutes into the game, Augusto da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ander Lepist kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Markel in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Markel came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Mario Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LauB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Mendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Mendez in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Mendez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Mendez struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LauB. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play.
