Dante Lacasa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Christos Perivolakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christos Perivolakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Menios Tsirkos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MICE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Menios Tsirkos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lv Hai Chong struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MICE F.C.. Christos Perivolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes MICE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Christos Perivolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christos Perivolakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Facundo Cadaval might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christos Perivolakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Cadaval ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Perivolakis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MICE F.C.'s Memphis Lundquist got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Zinédine Papoutsiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

MICE F.C.'s Jorden De Brouwer was substituted for Panos Kavaliaratos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Skondras in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MICE F.C. made a substitution. Iraklis Mortensøn replaced Isaltino Borges. The supporters of MICE F.C. booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. When Luca Rouco fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Luca Rouco a yellow card for diving instead. MICE F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
