FC LauB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rutger Danielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Augusto da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rutger Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC LauB's Rutger Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 24th minute, Mario Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC LauB's Rutger Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 27th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Rutger Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Markel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 65th minute, Ander Lepist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Pascual Markel put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. FC LauB's Pascual Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mario Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. FC LauB walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
