Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Artur Walczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Nikola Mirotić kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Kiszkiel. Tolek Kiszkiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 25 minutes, Fernando Morientes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia HSB and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fernando Morientes hit a great ball. Fabian Czeszejko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Czeszejko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 47th minute Fabian Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Czeszejko to make the kick off. Fabian Czeszejko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Olimpia HSB's Ezequiel Abecia got a free kick in the 66th minute. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tolek Kiszkiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 71st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Tolek Kiszkiel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpia HSB's Tomáš Petrásek was substituted for Sixto Yanguas. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Zbyszko Skorny replaced Artur Walczak. After 82 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Olimpia HSB's Tomáš Petrásek got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 91st minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Kiszkiel was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
