Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Francisco Netto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lautaro Navarro, passed just outside the right post. Gigi Kent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Lupii Turbati's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Ionică Bălanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigi Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Lupii Turbati's Dinu Angheluță couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Honduras. Ionică Bălanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Bălanescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Lupii Turbati's Gigi Kent got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Gigi Kent sent off a good shot on target. Ionică Bălanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Lupii Turbati got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Kent. Ionică Bălanescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lupii Turbati getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcel Taşcu hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lupii Turbati booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Taşcu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 56thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ionică Bălanescu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Bălanescu. Lupii Turbati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lupii Turbati's Ciprian Zgabei was substituted for Gigi Kent. In the 69th minute, Lupii Turbati's Codrin Dinulescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Codrin Dinulescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lupii Turbati protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Codrin Dinulescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lupii Turbati! The goalkeeper, Ionică Bălanescu, was totally fooled by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Francisco Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Netto fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupii Turbati's protests and gave Francisco Netto a yellow card for diving instead. Honduras made a substitution. Stefano Rouco replaced Ivan Navarro. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lupii Turbati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Bălanescu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Honduras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
