After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Lv Hai Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot. MICE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lv Hai Chong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Hai Chong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Lv Hai Chong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lv Hai Chong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Christos Perivolakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Skondras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Christos Perivolakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Perivolakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Lv Hai Chong tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Hai Chong in the 32nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute MICE F.C. were awarded a corner. Panos Kavaliaratos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on MICE F.C.'s corner Zinédine Papoutsiadis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Hai Chong in the 35th minute of play. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Perivolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Skondras in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christos Perivolakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Skondras came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MICE F.C.'s zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Perivolakis came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Hai Chong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Lv Hai Chong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. The supporters of MICE F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 88th minute. Iraklis Mortensøn's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Julio Vera on his right side and into the goal. 89 minutes into the game it was 6-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lv Hai Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot. MICE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lv Hai Chong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but MICE F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
