Vaios Vourtzoumis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Hugó Révész took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. After 15 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugó Révész kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugó Révész showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 20 minute of play. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugó Révész. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hugó Révész came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Gábor Hellinger's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gábor Hellinger helped the player get up and apologised. Keszi Athletic's 于平辰 was substituted for Hugó Révész. Claudinho Taffarel had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 70 played minutes Keszi Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Gábor Hellinger. Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. Keszi Athletic's 于平辰 got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Claudinho Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Keszi Athletic were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
