Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Khodadad Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Einar Felin charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Einar Felin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Terra Scaniae's Einar Felin got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Staffan Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Näfver came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Oscar Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Frans Hedling hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Oscar Näfver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Kent Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khodadad Khan having to interfere. Khodadad Khan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Oscar Näfver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Gunnarsson to make the kick off. Anders Lingren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Näfver in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Terra Scaniae's Kent Gunnarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Terra Scaniae getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Einar Felin hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Näfver in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khodadad Khan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Näfver came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. If Kent Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Kent Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khodadad Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. When Staffan Fribäck came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Terra Scaniae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Fribäck couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Terra Scaniae side.
