Valentinos Georgakoglou charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentinos Georgakoglou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentinos Georgakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 7th minute of play forced MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Iason Plexioudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panos Chasiotis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Rakowski in the 10th minute of play. Panos Chasiotis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Panos Chasiotis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Iason Plexioudas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Marco Tamayo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. El Salvador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mateo Leguizamo in the 36th minute. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iason Plexioudas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Luque in the 40th minute of the match. MELATES F.C.'s Iason Plexioudas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Panos Chasiotis. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Moises Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Iason Plexioudas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MELATES F.C.'s Norbert Rakowski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Leontokardos. 68 minutes into the match, Norbert Rakowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Rakowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Notis Mantarinakis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Iason Plexioudas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. After 92 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. The supporters of El Salvador booed when MELATES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Rakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
