In the 4th minute, 龚响适 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 郭源正 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 郭源正 came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Abram Luque. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jairo Natal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Jairo Natal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. 郭源正 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 27th minute of play. 郭源正 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Natal came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 郭源正 having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusty Vaisey in the 54th minute of play. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, 安徽合肥秋刀鱼联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龚响适 to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. 郭源正 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 87th minute. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by 郭源正 but with some difficulty. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the El Salvador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
