Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dave Murray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Adalberto Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Iron Maiden FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Günalp Talip hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Günalp Talip took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Murray's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Günalp Talip notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adalberto Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günalp Talip to make the kick off. Adalberto Nueva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. Bruce Dickinson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Mexico booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Dickinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 73rd minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Iron Maiden FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günalp Talip in the 75th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iron Maiden FC's goalkeeper Adalberto Nueva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adalberto Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Torrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 96th minute, Adrian Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Iron Maiden FC to leave the ground with a draw.
