After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 郭源正 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Natal to make the kick off. 严岚誉 struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Natal in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Rusty Vaisey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, 严岚誉 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Rusty Vaisey scored 6-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, 安徽合肥秋刀鱼联队 could leave the field as winners, despite Bolivia having more of the ball for most of the match.
