Eugenio Mazzone ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Xiang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurbey Ulutaş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, BELİZE CK's Sandrinho Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Dilmen Kutlubay got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BELİZE CK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilmen Kutlubay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Hajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sandrinho Torres struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BELİZE CK. If Eugenio Mazzone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Songurbey Ulutaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas lined in a short shot 3-4 behind a frustrated Songurbey Ulutaş. Szczepan Hajder went to the cornerflag to take it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant BELİZE CK side.
