Evlogi Antonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evlogi Antonov quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evlogi Antonov saved MpanTouLis FC from getting behind. If Argyris Amanatidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MpanTouLis FC's Thodoris Kefaloukos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Evlogi Antonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MpanTouLis FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kolkhis Christakos hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evlogi Antonov having to make a save. In the 44th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evlogi Antonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evlogi Antonov having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argyris Amanatidis made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evlogi Antonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Argyris Amanatidis made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Amanatidis in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by MpanTouLis FC's Argyris Amanatidis. But to his dismay, Argyris Amanatidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Vardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MpanTouLis FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Filippos Nikiforakis hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Christos Vardis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MpanTouLis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Evlogi Antonov made a huge save. Thodoris Kefaloukos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save MpanTouLis FC from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Vardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Rouco charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Rouco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, MpanTouLis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Tsoflidis to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MpanTouLis FC had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
