Angelo Fresnos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Fresnos saved FLAMENGO San Sebastian from getting behind. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Angelo Fresnos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Dios. 30 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Angelo Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Caitano Galego was substituted for Per Åström. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. Tibo Mampaerts replaced Faruk Nafiz Arman. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Emiliano Pancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Pedro Dios got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Emiliano Pancho sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Pancho was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Emiliano Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Fresnos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FLAMENGO San Sebastian from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Pancho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Emiliano Pancho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Pedro Dios. Emiliano Pancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes FLAMENGO San Sebastian got a freekick which was hit by Louis Japón. 89 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Fresnos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
