Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Saadettin Akboğa sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saadettin Akboğa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Saadettin Akboğa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saadettin Akboğa in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 76th minute of the match Saadettin Akboğa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Saadettin Akboğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saadettin Akboğa in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.
