Yin Bing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Farid Ayham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atletico Beirut could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
