After taking down the ball on El Renacer del Quijano FC's corner Peneios Protopsaltis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 41st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Ubarna couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Ubarna to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Ubarna couldn't finish the play. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Maximo Distiratsu was substituted for Nunez Maurin. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Carballar in the 74th minute of play. The corner ended in Leandro Laurentzi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Snow. Tomas Snow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Jakob Friberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Renacer del Quijano FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94thth minute of the game Teobaldo Ubarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Chile manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Renacer del Quijano FC to win.
