A collision led to Gocamanlar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Turgut Suhan hit a great ball. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gocamanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Suhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uğurcan Haznedaroğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bahtiyar Canatan tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Uğurcan Haznedaroğlu. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Suhan. When Hulusi Hazret fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gocamanlar's protests and gave Hulusi Hazret a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gocamanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulusi Hazret didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Gocamanlar got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Hazret. Uğurcan Haznedaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 33rd minute of play. Nadir Mutlugün hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Nadir Mutlugün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Turgut Suhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Mutlugün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Nadir Mutlugün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Arda Göksel Kutalp's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arda Göksel Kutalp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Gocamanlar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arda Göksel Kutalp to maneuver through the defense. Nadir Mutlugün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emre Orhun hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Hulusi Hazret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nadir Mutlugün was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Nadir Mutlugün kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Uğurcan Haznedaroğlu made a huge save. Turgut Suhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Gocamanlar's Turgut Suhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Gocamanlar were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
