A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match MpanTouLis FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christos Vardis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MpanTouLis FC's Miltos Pegiadis to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Evlogi Antonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Amanatidis in the 27th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argyris Amanatidis made a kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Evlogi Antonov made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Stratos Tsoflidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. MpanTouLis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stratos Tsoflidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Evlogi Antonov made a huge save. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Argyris Amanatidis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the MpanTouLis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Amanatidis couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MpanTouLis FC's Argyris Amanatidis got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evlogi Antonov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Argyris Amanatidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Amanatidis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The MpanTouLis FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
