After 5 played minutes Goth Cloudy Experience got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Cosme. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Anísio Furlan put in a rough tackle. In the 21st minute, Anísio Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kléber Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Motta. Goth Cloudy Experience's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Goth Cloudy Experience was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 43 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Diego Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 65 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
