Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iakovos Kapetanos started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Drafi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Anestis Patsionidis hit a great ball. Thomas Mavreas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Paris Korellas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drafi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 30th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Thomas Mavreas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Iakovos Kapetanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thomas Mavreas had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Drafi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemal Türünk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Drafi booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Thomas Mavreas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Thomas Mavreas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Victor Paez in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Mavreas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Victor Paez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Iakovos Kapetanos sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Drafi's Babbis Kriaris. But to his dismay, Babbis Kriaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Drafi's Akis Katsanis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Iakovos Kapetanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Iakovos Kapetanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paris Korellas in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Drafi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
