An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Smefeldt in the 24th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abelardo Vallejos in the 41 minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Gallin. Philip Gallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play forced Stjärnblomster's goalkeeper Philip Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steffen Kullgren to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Stjärnblomster's Philip Gallin got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Sten Bergren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Smefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen Kullgren in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Stjärnblomster made a substitution. Tony Klint replaced Guto Alagoano. In the 81stth minute of the game Steffen Kullgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Ove Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Stjärnblomster's Philip Gallin. Philip Gallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 minutes of play, Stjärnblomster's Steffen Kullgren made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Smefeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
