THE POWER OF DREAMS
Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SEA THE STARS's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Linford came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Espiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 8 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. David Linford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, SEA THE STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Carpenter to maneuver through the defense. Ken Bell made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 31st minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Linford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Spike Barton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Linford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Nicholson made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ken Bell.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Spike Barton to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Howard Carpenter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes, Howard Carpenter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SEA THE STARS and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Howard Carpenter hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper David Linford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, SEA THE STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but David Linford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Jeremy Reeve sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, SEA THE STARS's David Linford got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Linford having to interfere. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Howard Carpenter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The supporters of Honduras booed when SEA THE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Carpenter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremy Reeve kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SEA THE STARS's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Linford came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
