Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Spike Barton kicked off to start the match. David Linford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Linford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Howard Carpenter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Spike Barton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spike Barton in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Howard Carpenter took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. David Linford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Eliseo Noboa rounded SEA THE STARS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. Spike Barton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spike Barton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 90th minute Spike Barton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Spike Barton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 96th minute of play forced SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper David Linford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SEA THE STARS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
