Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gianluca Scamacca took the kick off in the first half of the match. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaw Fafinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaw Fafinski was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Fafinski. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Fafinski should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Rødal in the 43rd minute. After 54 minutes, Elías Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustaw Fafinski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Scamacca's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Birrell Watman charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birrell Watman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A got a freekick which was hit by Birrell Watman. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Gustaw Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Scamacca in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Gustaw Fafinski, making the score, 0-3. 95 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustaw Fafinski. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A throughout the match.
