With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Gooitzen Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Lilko Chervenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lilko Chervenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dibra Fc's Lilko Chervenski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lilko Chervenski having to interfere. Gooitzen Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazbi Cane in the 36th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Hénin in the 39th minute of play. If Marin Hénin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa.

Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dibra Fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the game Berti Zhulali made a throw-in which Gooitzen Bot played forward. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Hénin in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Dibra Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dibra Fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lilko Chervenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Gooitzen Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Dibra Fc's Hazbi Cane broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 91 minutes into the match, Dibra Fc's goalkeeper Lilko Chervenski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Berti Zhulali charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berti Zhulali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Altin Haxhi got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hazbi Cane. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
