Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nick Pope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Nick Pope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 15th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Svante Forsberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Pope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Pope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nick Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of the match. Nick Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Orlando Casaus made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bajen's Nick Pope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nick Pope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Pope read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Sidney Porto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Caballero came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Caballero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Caballero in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Svante Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bajen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Forsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nick Pope. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Nick Pope made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nick Pope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nick Pope could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Pedro Indiano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Karl-Magnus Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nick Pope made a huge save. Chile were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Nick Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Tamayo in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bajen.
