Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Orlando Casaus had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Chile's Domingo Mancebo was substituted for Orlando Casaus. Dorotheos Macheritsas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Filip Panțurus short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adrianus Tambunan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Panțuru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Panțuru hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hu Jie Rong in the 94th minute of the match.
