With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einaras Čizauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to 1 FC Elbląg getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tolek Burdzel hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The 1 FC Elbląg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
