The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Luca Toni sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Michael Scofield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Michael Scofield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto De Marchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luca Toni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Toni in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Toni got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Luca Toni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Luca Toni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Campania Ponticelli's Fausto De Marchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Campania Ponticelli's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Fausto De Marchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto De Marchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of the match. Fausto De Marchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Antonio Indiano put in a rough tackle. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Pedro Manzanares had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Corrado Colagrossi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fausto De Marchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of play forced Campania Ponticelli's goalkeeper Fausto De Marchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Palmisano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto De Marchi skillfully saved the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto De Marchi. Campania Ponticelli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Campania Ponticelli's Felice Apicella in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Toni in the 52nd minute of the match. Giorgio Petrini kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Toni in the 56th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campania Ponticelli's goalkeeper Fausto De Marchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto De Marchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fausto De Marchi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Campania Ponticelli through an amazing save. Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Luca Toni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto De Marchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 80th minute of play. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campania Ponticelli's goalie prevented a goal. Campania Ponticelli's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ignacio Mastache 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. In the 89thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campania Ponticelli's Fausto De Marchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Mastache was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Colombia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
