In the 20th minute, Virgilio Arotza made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgilio Arotza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Virgilio Arotza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 28 in the game by Virgilio Arotza from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Zglobiu in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A hard shot by Delmar Cordairo from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Concetto Guarrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Concetto Guarrera ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Roderigo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Arotza in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 64th minute. It was beautiful to see Club A Independiente's Concetto Guarrera in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 70thth minute of the game Virgilio Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Club A Independiente were awarded a corner. Concetto Guarrera went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Club A Independiente's corner Concetto Guarrera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Arotza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Fidencio having to make a save. If Delmar Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Virgilio Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Arotza went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Arotza in the 86th minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Silvestre Fidencio made a huge save. In the 89th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvestre Fidencio quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Arotza in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club A Independiente fully deserved thier win.
