Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Chilcano's Jacinto Galguera got a free kick in the 20th minute. Heli Monsalve struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Chilcano. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Santotis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Chilcano's Modesto Pita got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lizardi Montanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Sporting Chilcano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sporting Chilcano's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sporting Chilcano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lizardi Montanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sporting Chilcano's Gil Gascon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Armando Santotis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Chilcano's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Santotis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sporting Chilcano's Lizardi Montanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Chilcano booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goalkeeper Lizardi Montanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Lizardi Montanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lizardi Montanez. Lizardi Montanez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sporting Chilcano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Lizardi Montanez, making the score, 0-4. 70 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Lizardi Montanez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sporting Chilcano's Baiarte Cerdeira was substituted for Jacinto Galguera. Sporting Chilcano made a substitution. Vladimiro Veguri replaced Kevin Justo. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lizardi Montanez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lizardi Montanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Modesto Pita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Chilcano's goalkeeper Lizardi Montanez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lizardi Montanez came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 91st minute. The Sporting Chilcano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
