Witomir Wielgopolski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
